2021 AFCON qualifier: Cape Coast Sports Stadium to admit 500 spectators for Ghana-Sudan clash.

The stadium will host only 500 supporters as part of measures put in place by authorities to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

As earlier directed by the President Nana Akufo Addo on the restart of football amid the pandemic, only 25 per cent of spectators are supposed to watch the game but the directive from the National Sports Authority and the COVID-19 Risk Team is to ensure the safety of the fans on match day.

The 25 per cent would have meant the Stadium could admit 3,750 fans but only 500 tickets will be printed on the day, according to the reports.

As part of preparations, the Sports Authority and managers of the Cape Coast Stadium will fumigate the match venue before the Ghana and Sudan game

The Black Star will host their Sudan at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday, November 12, before travelling to Khartoum to face the Falcons five days later in the reverse fixture.
