Don’t Waste Your Time – Chief In Northern Region Boldly Tells John Mahama

A Paramount Chief in the Northern Region of Ghana has told former President John Dramani Mahama to stop wasting his time.

His statement was during a visit by John Dramani Mahama to his palace in Bimbila, the capital of the Municipality in the Northern Region.

The regent overlord of the Nanumba Traditional Council, Nyelinboligu Naa Yakubu Andani Dasana who hosted John Dramani Mahama and his entourage, indicated that the name of the former President is not new in his community.

He indicates that John Dramani Mahama should not waste his precious time in Bimbila, but rather go and speak to other people who are waiting to hear his promises.

He believes the People of Nanumaba already know the good works of John Dramani Mahama, and will give him their votes in the upcoming election.

“John Dramani Mahama, your name is not a strange name. it’s a name that has brought development to this area so we already know you. It’s the name that has led to the construction of our roads and has provided better schools for our kids. For John Mahama, we can at least boast of good drinking water and respect for our traditional authority.

Don’t waste your time here in my palace, there are a lot of people in town waiting for you.

The farmers are there, they are waiting for you to come and give them hope. The school children are also there waiting for you to give them a message of hope.

The aged and the young children less than ten years, are also waiting for you to give them hope. So, go and talk to them”. Nyelinboligu Naa Yakubu Andani Dasana indicated.

Nyelinboligu Naa Yakubu Andani Dasana added that the people of Bimbila will continue to pray for John Dramani Mahama.

According to him, the community is waiting for John Dramani Mahama to fulfill his commitments, when the good people of Ghana vote for him in December.

“We have prayed, we always pray for you. We pray that Nanu will always be mentioned to you, and you will look at it as your home, and not a place you one day came to do a campaign.

As I said, I would not waste, much of your time. In your previous term in office, you made some commitments, to us, and I would like to remind you so that if discerning Ghanaians happen to vote for you, which I believe they would, then you don’t forget.

The bridge, police post, health school, and senior secondary school are still waiting for you.

We are hopeful that one day all commitments will be fulfilled”. Nyelinboligu Naa Yakubu Andani Dasana indicated.
