Sky News Calls Ghana “The World’s Poorest People” Upon Arrival Of The Covid-19 Vaccines – Ghanaians React


Ghana amongst other African countries have received the 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccines on Wednesday, 24 February, 2021.

The 600,000 doses of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine safely arrived at the Kotoka International Airport as pictures and videos of the moment have flooded social media platforms.

Upon the arrival of the vaccine in Ghana just like other countries, many media portals have made publications about it.

However, some news portals like Sky News labelled Ghana as one of the world’s poorest countries in their publication.

After many Ghanaians sighted on the report and being tagged as a poorer country, they took to their social media platforms to react.

Some netizens blasted them asking if they understand the relevance of their publication while others also accepted that because Ghana still go for assistance from them, it should be understandable.

Also, one Family Law Solicitor, Collaborative Lawyer and Arbitrator working in Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey called an African country that received it’s covid-19 vaccine a “poorer country”, well defintely he was also referring to Ghana.
