Dolphins washed ashore at Axim.

 Dolphins washed ashore at Axim.

Due to human and natural influences, dolphins are considered to be in danger of extinction, according to the Endangered Species Act.  As a result, all dolphins are protected under the Marine Mammal Protection Act.

My sources say about thirty of these stranded dolphins have already been taken to the market for sale. The pictures you see here depict a home setting, an indication that these will soon be processed for human consumption. The concern here is that dolphin meat is high in mercury, and may pose a health danger to humans when consumed.

Somebody must act now.
