As another Bugatti comes in Ghana, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite has a challenger

A snapshot of another pricey vehicle from French automaker Bugatti that has supposedly arrived on the shores of Ghana has sparked massive emotions.

This comes after Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, a Ghanaian millionaire, celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this month by receiving the 2022 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport.

At the current currency rate of 24,518,250 Ghana cedis, the car has a base price of $3,825,000.

The new automobile is a standard Bugatti Veyron 16.4 model, according to the manufacturer. Only 252 Veyrons were ever made between 2005 and 2011.

The starting price for this model of the Bugatti Veyron is $1 million (GHS7,388,267).

GHPage is unable to confirm whether or not this photograph was taken in a Ghanaian port as claimed.

A young man who questioned authorities over revenue mobilized on importations at Ghana's ports posted an image of the car on Twitter, which has since been deleted.

His question was intended to deflect attention away from the government's fixation on passing the Electronic Transaction Level (E-Level), which has been widely rejected by Ghanaians.

Take a look at some of the Twitter responses below.

"Our harbor is being sold by the previous government, and we don't have full authority over our airport," Mr Frimps remarked. It was sold to a French entrepreneur named Vincent Balloré."

"People have too much to pay the government," wrote Jagbesie Jibriel.

"Wey bugatti wey buy Elantra rims nu?" questioned another. Wei die3 s3 2012 mu hor o o o o o o o o o o o o o o

"Dem for start dey upgrade the OS for plenty roads W16," wrote another.
