The Season 2 Finale of 'Power Book III: Raising Kanan' is now being filmed, however there will be a wait until it airs.

During the wait for more Power Book III: Raising Kanan, the prequel centered on Kanan Stark, Starz has kept us occupied with lots of Power content. That doesn't make us any less excited for it to come back.

Kanan's ascension before his horrific death in Power is chronicled in this 1990s-set series. Kanan is just 15 years old when he joins his family's criminal enterprise, which forces him to mature quickly and become the man he desires. Even though the show began recording its second season before the first ended, it appears that there is still a bit of a wait for it to premiere.

Courtney Kemp, the show's creator, spoke about the situation on Instagram Live in February.

'Power Book III: Raising Kanan' is still in the works, according to Kemp.

Kemp was taking part in an Instagram Live Q&A when she inquired about the show's comeback date. "I don't have a date," she said, "but I can tell you they're filming the finale right now."

Kemp remarked, "We had to push part of the season due of COVID." "Due to the Omicron surge, we had to postpone the start of ['Power Book II: Ghost' Season 3] and take a vacation in the middle of Season 2 of 'Raising Kanan.'"

As a result, it will air a little later, but only a little. And I believe it will have a bigger impact in the second half of the season, but not by much."

While Kemp did not specify a return date, the show appears to be on track for a 2022 premiere. It's possible that it'll be a few weeks later than predicted.
