According to N.O.R.E., Eminem told Jay-Z he wouldn't perform at the Super Bowl if he couldn't bring 50 Cent.

According to N.O.R.E., Eminem warned Jay-Z that if he couldn't bring 50 Cent, he wouldn't play at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.

On the current Drink Champs podcast, which debuted on YouTube on April 16, N.O.R.E. corroborated the story. The show's guest was none other than hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg.

Snoop, who recently acquired Death Row Records, discussed the massive Super Bowl LVI halftime concert, which featured Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.

The Queens, New York rapper questioned the Doggfather about why Dr. Dre's former Aftermath Records star The Game was not invited to play, and Snoop simply stated that it was Dr. Dre's event and he only had 12 minutes to fill.

This caused N.O.R.E. to admit that Jay-Z, the NFL's Live Music Entertainment Strategist, informed him about Eminem's requirement to play at the famous football event.

"I told Jay-Z, 'I have to ask you this straight up.'" 'Who is going to perform at the NFL?' and he [Jay] responded to me—and I apologize for anyone who doesn't understand—'the White guy called for 50 Cent,'" he recalled. "I asked, 'Who's the White guy?'" 'How about Jimmy Iovine?' And he replied, 'No, Eminem phoned directly for Fifty, and he said I can't do it until I bring 50 with me.'"

"That's spiritual," N.O.R.E. said.

Snoop Dogg concurred, saying, "Of course, that's his guy!" And guess who Dre's man is? "This is me!"

N.O.R.E. and the entire podcast team applauded Em and Snoop for their devotion to 50 and Dre, respectively.
