Cane Won't Be Tariq's Only Enemy in Power Book II Season 3

Season 2 of Power Book II: Ghost ends with a bang. New York City is presently filming the third season. Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) struggles to balance his life as a college student and a drug dealer in Ghost. Tariq has become involved with the Tejada family, who supply him with the drugs he sells on his college campus.

Monet Tejada (Mary J. Blige) is the matriarch of the Tejada family, ruling over Cane (Woody McClain), Diana (LaToya Tonodeo), and Dru (Lovell Adams-Gray) with an iron fist. Cane, on the other hand, disliked Tariq right away. However, it appears that Cane will not be Tariq's only foe in season 3.

In Season 3 of 'Power Book II: Ghost,' Tariq will deal with Brayden and Effie's betrayal.

Except for Brayden (Gianni Paolo) and Effie, Tariq is now isolated (Alix Lapri). He doesn't realize, however, that Brayden and Effie are keeping a dark secret from Tariq. Tariq asked Brayden to assist him in getting his ex-girlfriend Lauren (Paige Hurd) safely out of town, as fans know. Lauren had become embroiled in Tariq's murder trial and was about to be compelled to testify against him. Effie and Cane, on the other hand, were not willing to take any chances. Lauren was killed by Effie, who used Brayden to lure her in and make it look like an accident.

Brayden and Effie are now keeping their knowledge of Lauren's death from Tariq. "It'll be difficult for them all to keep one secret from Tariq," Rainey Jr. told PopSugar. "You know Tariq, he's brilliant; he'll figure something out." He'll get to the bottom of whatever it is that he wants to get to the bottom of. So there will undoubtedly be some ups and downs in [those] relationships, and that's one thing I'm looking forward to seeing: the rough road they're about to embark on. It's going to be a whirlwind."

Tariq will have to deal with additional issues in addition to his pals.

In season 3, Cane will not be Tariq's only foe.

Cane and Tariq have been on the outs for a long time, as we all know. Cane even falsely accused Tariq of murdering an NYPD officer, resulting in him being prosecuted with two counts of murder. Although the two appear to have reached an agreement, Tariq has already promised to exact vengeance on Cane.

Furthermore, Tariq may face a new foe in the third season of Ghost. According to Deadline, Kyle Vincent Terry will play Obi, "a young man schooled in Britain who knows his way around a rifle but is as at ease in a boardroom." Obi appears to be Tariq's older brother.

Despite their similarities, it's simple to understand how the two guys may clash.

In season 3, will Tariq assassinate Cane?

Cane and the college student/drug dealer have had a tense relationship since the beginning. Tariq had never trusted Cane, and Cane had never trusted Tariq, but because they were both responsible for the death of professor Jabari Reynolds (Justin McManus), Tariq was taken aback when Cane betrayed him.

After all, we wouldn't be surprised if Tariq took Cane out, or at least tried to, once he learned about Brayden and Effie.
