NPP CONSTITUENCY CHAIRMAN DEFEATS POLLING STATION CHAIRMAN, AND IS NOW FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE OVER GH850.

Wilson Kwaku Bodeh, the New Patriotic Party's constituency chairman in the central region's Twifo Ati-Morkwa constituency, is accused of assaulting his polling station chairman Ebenezer Teteh when Teteh, the victim, went to his (constituency Chairman's) residence to collect Gh850 for work done for him.

Ebenezer Teteh described his suffering by saying that the constituency Chairman, Wilson Kwaku Bodeh, hired him to do some carpentry work for him, which he completed to the best of his ability, but Wilson Kwaku Bodeh failed to pay him the agreed-upon labor charge.

A few months later, Ebenezer Teteh and his wife went to Chairman Kwaku Bodeh's house to collect the money so that they could send their daughter to Mfansteman Girls SHS, where she had been accepted.

He bemoaned the fact that when they arrived at chairman Kwaku Bodeh's residence, he insulted them and then beat him viciously, leaving him down on the floor.

It was his wife's timely intervention that drew him away from Chairman Kwaku Bodeh's house.

The victim, Ebenezer Teteh, promptly reported the event to the Twifo Praso police station, where he was given a police medical form to fill out and send to the hospital. The cops are currently looking into the situation.

Philomena Tetteh, the victim's wife and an eyewitness to the atrocity, told the media that the might behind chairman Kwaku Bodeh's blow against her husband horrified her. In addition, her husband has been unable to work due to the devastating effects of the beating.

Wilson Kwaku Bodeh, the NPP chairman for Twifo Ati-Morkwa seat, has indicated that his pastor has urged him not to remark on the situation.
