Rihanna Reportedly Had To Cancel Her Baby Shower Due A$AP Rocky’s Arrest

According to The Sun, Rihanna was forced to cancel her baby shower after A$AP Rocky was arrested for alleged involvement in a November 2021 shooting.

The source claimed, "It was supposed to be Rihanna's baby shower in LA on Wednesday night, but they had to cancel." "Rihanna was really unhappy and stressed as a result of Rocky's arrest." It's not the best moment for her to be going through so much emotional turmoil."

Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, was arrested at LAX when he and Rihanna exited a private jet after returning from a holiday in Barbados. The Los Angeles Police Department had been investigating his role in a shooting that occurred on Nov. 6, 2021, according to NBC News.

He's suspected of approaching a man on Argyle and Selma Ave. in Los Angeles at 10:20 p.m. with two other males and firing three or four bullets at him. One of the rounds grazed the alleged victim's left hand, he stated.

The "Fashion Killa" rapper has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, according to the LAPD. According to authorities, the 33-year-old knew the suspected victim and was involved in the alleged gunshot following an argument between the two.

According to public records, Rocky was released on $550,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for August 17, 2022.

"She's heavily pregnant, and these are severe charges; it's a nightmarish circumstance for her," the person continued.

The Harlem rapper's Los Angeles house was also searched after his detention. Six officers are seen using a battering hammer to enter his gated home in a video obtained by TMZ. There are also photographs of cops leaving his house with a box of paperwork.

He could face up to four years in jail if convicted of felony assault with a deadly weapon, as well as fines of up to $10,000 and obligatory probation. If convicted of a misdemeanor, he could face up to a year in prison and a fine of $1,000.
