When Ghana was informed that they will be playing Uruguay in the World Cup, Asamoah Gyan was pictured working hard in order to gain a call up to the Black Stars.

Asamoah Gyan, the former Black Stars captain, was caught in a new video uploaded by blogger Van De Maestro practicing very hard, most likely in preparation for a call up back to the Black Stars.

The draw for the 2022 World Cup, which begins in November in Qatar, was held on Friday, April 1 in Doha, and Ghana was placed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay, all of whom are led by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Given the memorable meeting between Ghana and Uruguay at the 2010 World Cup, which has gone down in history as one of the most exhilarating matches in the tournament's history, and Asamoah Gyan's position as the villain in that game, Ghanaians are eager to repay the South Americans in their own currency.

As a result, Gyan, who has been without a club for almost two years and has lost weight (despite refusing to retire, claiming there is still more he can offer), was seen training and scoring fantastic goals during a training session, according to the footage we received.
