Power Book II: Ghost : Brandy wants to be a part of the show, saying, "I played a whole gangster before."

Not only as a singer, but also as an actor, Brandy has a huge variety. From playing a Disney princess in 1997's Cinderella to a lyrical master in the ABC series Queens, her flexibility has been demonstrated in a range of ventures across TV and film.

She's now hoping to use her skills on Starz's smash series Power Book II: Ghost.

Brandy is willing to make an appearance on 'Power Book II: Ghost.'

Brandy made the remarks in a Queens interview with Deadline. The Nasty B******, a girl trio from the 1990s, was portrayed by her, Eve, Naturi Naughton, and Nadine Velazquez in the series. They split up at the height of their fame due to internal strife, and they haven't communicated in over two decades. They can't say no to a rich reunion opportunity, though. Before being discontinued in May, the show aired for one season.

The reporter suggested the potential of Brandy joining Naughton on the Power spinoff Power Book II: Ghost in the interview, which was published before the show was canceled.

"What do you think? She said, "Don't tempt me." "I have some abilities for Power." I'm not sure whether you watched Star, but I was a gangster on there. I'm confident I can work some magic with 50 Cent and the rest of those guys over there."

50 Cent, who is an executive producer on the show, has not publicly commented to her comments. Showbiz Cheat Sheet contacted his representatives for comment, but did not receive a response right away.

'Power Book II: Ghost' is a ratings hit

Ghost was released in September 2020, following the events of Power, which starred Omari Hardwick as a drug dealer striving to make a better life for himself, his wife Tasha (Naughton), and their children.

After — spoiler! — Ghost's death, Ghost focuses on his son Tariq, who begins to sell drugs like his father. As a result of this, Tariq becomes involved with the Tejada crime family, placing him on a very perilous path. Michael Rainey Jr., Method Man, Mary J. Blige, Larenz Tate, and Woody McClain are among the cast members in Power Book II: Ghost.

The show was an instant hit when it premiered, and it was promptly renewed for a second season. It is currently on its third season, which will premiere in the fall of 2022.

Naturi Naughton, however, is no longer a part of the show.

Naughton left the show about the same time she began working on Queens, but producer Courtney Kemp has hinted that she might return.

Tasha's story, which finished with her in witness protection, "feels incomplete," she told Entertainment Weekly. "However, now you see a significant component of what Tariq's overarching tale will be going forward, which is, he'll truly be looking for his family's reunification — how will he join them?" When starting a series, the first important thing to consider is what the character wants. Tariq also want to reunite with his family. So, let's see."
