3 days after his 'death,' DCE'resurrects' to beg forgiveness.

Yaw Danso, the embattled District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosome Freho in the Ashanti Region, has apologized unequivocally to the members of his assembly and the general public for informing them that he was dead after some of them reported that he was nowhere to be located.

In an interview with a journalist, Yaw Danso suggested that members of the assembly who were complaining about not seeing him should be informed that he was dead. This drew a lot of criticism from the general population.

But, just 72 hours after the contentious interview, the DCE has issued an apology, saying, "For all intents and purposes, the interview was not to defame or disrespect my honourable assembly members and by extension the good people of Bosome Freho and Ghanaians at large."

"...Notwithstanding, I fully apologise for stating "inform them I am dead" and beg Nananom from Bosome Freho, my distinguished assembly members, the good people of Bosome Freho, and Ghanaians to pardon me for my blunder," he said in the statement.

Yaw Danso could be impeached by his assembly members for failing to work in the assembly's and assembly members' best interests.
