Power: A Big Hint That Tommy Learned Everything From Kanan

The third book in the Power Universe, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, serves as a prequel. We are aware that Tommy (Joseph Sikora) and Ghost (Omari Hardwick) were shaped into the men they are now by Kanan Stark (Mekai Curtis in Raising Kanan and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson in Power).

Power even contains a crucial piece of information that Tommy got directly from Kanan.

In 1996, Kanan and Tommy first meet.

People have been yearning to see the younger versions of the characters interact since Power Book III: Raising Kanan is Kanan's origin narrative and we already know that Kanan meets Ghost and Tommy when he is a teenager. That won't occur, though, for a while. The first season of Raising Kanan takes place in 1991, and the second season jumps a year to 1993.

Before 1996, the three men never come into contact. "A lot of folks believed they desired to view Tommy and Ghost as young children. However, I don't find that to be a compelling tale," Power creator Courtney Kemp told TVLine. "You can be sure that Ghost and Tommy will survive. We really enter what 50 Cent refers to as South Jamaica Queens' "golden age of drug dealing," she said. "This was a lot more intriguing approach of visiting that time period, in my opinion. Simply put, I detest being questioned about Tommy and Ghost in the prequel. At the beginning of this series, Ghost and Tommy are both 10 years old. They are young children in the fifth grade, so we don't need to be having a conversation about them right now. And I am aware that everyone in the Power universe will be asking, "Where are Ghost and Tommy? "

Tommy learned everything he knows from Kanan.

Ever still, Kanan was present in the first season of Power before we even knew he existed. After all, Tommy and Ghost learned everything they know from Kanan. Tommy burns a man alive in Power Season 1 because he thinks the man is a trailer. We discover that Raq's (Patina Miller) boyfriend High Post was burned alive for spying in the Raising Kanan pilot.

That was something that was obviously engrained in Kanan, and he transmitted it to his underlings.

Season 2 of "Power Book III: Raising Kanan" could introduce us to Breeze.

Breeze, Kanan's tutor, might make a cameo in season 2 even if we won't see a young Tommy and Ghost on Raising Kanan for some time.

We already know that Kanan eventually strays from his family to work with Breeze and start their own drug gang. In the end, Ghost turns on them both and steals the company for himself and Tommy.

Despite the fact that Breeze gave Ghost his moniker, Ghost killed Breeze in order to succeed in business. "When I killed him, I was your age. In a Power Season 6 episode, he explained to his son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr. ), "I killed Breeze because he got in the way of my future.
