Going to the IMF is like giving the NDC power without a contest – Ken Agyapong fumes [Video]

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, has said that he is unhappy with the Akufo-Addo government's decision to ask the IMF for help.

During his speech at the NPP National Constituency Officers Welfare Workshop in Koforidua, he talked about how the Mahama government going to the IMF made him think it was a failure.

The NPP lawmaker remembered saying that any party that asks that institution for help will lose.

He said he didn't know what to say after his party did the same thing as the NDC and that going to the IMF is the same as giving power to the opposition NDC without a fight.

"It's like giving power to the NDC without a fight and right away because of the noise we made, and I'm chewing my own words when I say the NDC went to the IMF because of bad economic management." So, what would I say to the IMF if NPP went there? So it will be hard to break the 8.My message to you is straightforward; you cannot read my lips, and I am not afraid of anyone in the party; I will tell you the gospel truth: those who lead you to the IMF cannot break the 8,” Kennedy Agyapong stated.
