Power Book II: Ghost's Michael Rainey Jr. Signs With APA

EXCLUSIVE: Star of Starz's Power Book II: Ghost Michael Rainey Jr. has signed with APA for representation. Rainey joins Andrew Rogers, his former agent, who recently joined APA as a new Partner and Head of Global Talent, at APA after leaving ICM Partners. 

In Power Book II: Ghost on Starz, Rainey reprises his role as Tariq St. Patrick from the first Power television series. As Tariq St. Patrick, the son of businessman and drug lord Ghost, played by Omari Hardwick, in the original series Power from executive producers Courtney Kemp and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Rainey was 12 years old. He is currently the main character in the third season of Power Book II: Ghost. 

His acting credits also include the Netflix movie Amateur, the Barbershop 3: The Next Cut movie with Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, and Nicki Minaj, the Millennium movie 211 with Nicholas Cage, and Lee Daniels' The Butler. On the Netflix series Orange Is The New Black, Rainey also made guest appearances. 

In 2012, Rainey made his screen debut at the Sundance Film Festival for his role in the independent film Luv, which he shared with Common and Meagan Good. At Untitled Entertainment, Evan Hainey oversees the management of Rainey.
