Kelly Reilly says that Beth Dutton's "fierceness is really getting worse" in Season 5 of "Yellowstone."

Yellowstone Season 5 has started filming in Montana, and after how well Season 4 did, there are high hopes for it. Taylor Sheridan's western had a big year in which it became the most-watched drama on TV. Yellowstone had an average of 11 million viewers per episode, and the finale had over 15 million viewers.

How will season 5 be better? Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, says that the "fierceness is really getting worse."

In the last episode of Season 4 of "Yellowstone," Beth Dutton married Rip Wheeler.

Beth Dutton's life changed a lot at the end of Season 4. Not only did she use blackmail to bring her brother Jamie (Wes Bentley) under her and her father's control, but she also married Rip Wheeler, the man she loved most (Cole Hauser).

With the show's fourth season being so full of action, and with Beth's big life change in the finale, Reilly says, "How do we top it every year?" She also says that Beth's life is still hard, even though she's married, because she still has to "protect the land, take care of my father, and protect him."

Kelly Reilly says that season 5 is getting "more and more fierce."

Reilly says that, "in a weird way," she thinks Beth's values are "quite old-fashioned." She says that getting married to Rip has only made her stronger, which viewers will see in season 5.

"I think the fact that she is now married to this man gives her a lot of power. But since she was 16, he's always been her guy. "He's the only guy she's ever loved besides her father," Reilly said at the Paramount 2022 Upfronts. "So now that it's official in God's eyes, I think she's very proud of it. I think it gives her a little more security."

But Reilly says fans will be wrong if they think that Beth, who is a firecracker, will calm down now that she's married.

"Just when I thought Beth might be trying to calm down, she's not. "It's just that the fighting is really getting worse," Reilly said.

Season 5 of "Yellowstone" will start this fall.

People are very excited about the next season, and Kevin Costner, who plays John Dutton, says that Yellowstone is all anyone wants to talk about wherever he goes. But he doesn't mind the constant attention because it comes with being part of such a good project.

The Oscar winner told Entertainment Tonight, "If I'm out, someone will talk about it within an hour." "You sort of hope that will happen, and it has. I think that's what happens when great dialogue is set against mountains, rivers, and horses running. I think it has some gold dust on it."

The fifth season of Yellowstone will start on Sunday, November 13, on the Paramount Network. There will be 14 episodes, which is a lot, but there is a catch. The season will be split in half, with each half having seven episodes and a short break between them.
