Henderson finished filming Season 5 of Virgin River and told us what to expect.

Season 5 of Virgin River is coming back to Netflix. The fifth season started filming on July 18, and it will end on November 10, 2022. Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith is taking over for Sue Tenney. The cast and crew recently had a party on the set to celebrate making 50 episodes of the series. They also thanked their fans, saying that without their help, the job would not have been possible.

The show's official Instagram posted a photo from behind the scenes of Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge, who plays Mel Monroe (Jack Sheridan). This is what it says: "What's happening? Well, I won't tell anyone that."

Sean Smith, who runs the show, told Glamour UK: "We'll be doing new and exciting things, but the show will still feel like the same one. However, some of the stories will be told in a more exciting way. A little bit louder, but not so loud that it hurts the show's comfort. I want season five to feel like a big step up."

The movie Virgin River is based on Robyn Carr's books with the same name. Mel answers an ad to work as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the small, remote town of Virgin River in Northern California. She thinks it will be the perfect place to start over and leave her painful past behind. But she soon finds out that life in a small town isn't as easy as she thought.

Jack and Mel are still together and getting ready for the baby at the end of Season 4. Jack doesn't want to know who the father is. We also know about Doc's granddaughter and Jack's shooter. When they talked to Entertainment Tonight, they talked about how Season 5 of Virgin River would show Jack and Mel.

Breckenridge said there could be some episodes that make people feel a lot. She said that the episodes in Season 5 will be "some of the best they've ever done." The relationship between Jack and Mels will get stronger. We hope that Season 5 of Virgin River will answer these unanswered questions and show how complicated and bumpy Jack and Mel's relationship is.

Henderson gave a hint about what Season 5 of Virgin River will be like after filming was done. "The stuff about babies gets very interesting. Even though I haven't read any of those scripts, I can say that we have some really nice... A lot of things come to an end, and then there are a lot of new starts, new story lines, "he said. "I can't tell you too much. I know that someone could leave. Someone could go." He told Glamour that.

Breckenridge said this about Mel: "I think Mel's childhood journey becomes clearer as the season goes on, so we can understand where she's coming from and how that affects how she acts now. But, if I had to guess, I think there will be some similar turns and twists along the way."

Henderson said that Jack will do his best to pay attention to his family and the new baby. "I feel like Mel and Jack can now just focus on themselves, their baby, and their lives, which gives me a lot of hope. There are a lot of chances."

He said in an interview with Glamour, "From what I've heard, Mel and Jack will also grow very close this season...

In season 5, I hope to see them get closer to each other instead of being pushed apart by problems, because I think that's what the audience wants to see. There will be bumps, but it will be nice to see them grow up and grow closer to each other.

Henderson said this about how Brady will be shown in Season 5 of Virgin River "In season 4, Brady as a character gets a lot of second chances. I think season 5 has even more. That will definitely change how they feel about each other. But I think it's wrong if Brady is all of a sudden this good person. I don't believe that he will just turn over. It seems obvious. It's more interesting to have a character who can't stop doing what he's doing."

At the moment, there is no official date for Season 5 of Virgin River. We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything from the creators. Stay tuned to find out more!
