Man cuts rival's throat because he married his ex-wife, which made him angry.

The police are holding a jealous man who killed his ex-husband wife's at Edwinase-Munsunkwa, a community in the Wassa East District of the Western Region. The man was angry that his ex-wife had found a new man.

The crime is thought to have been done by the suspect, whose name is Kojo Arthur AKA Capo, and his friend, Buabeng.

The Assembly member for Edwinase Electoral Area, George Arthur, confirmed the incident to the host of Connect FM's Omanbapa morning show, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson. He also said that the suspect has three children with his ex-wife, Edufuwa.

"They were married, but they got a divorce for their own reasons. The lady moved on and met another man in the next community but it seems her ex-husband was still in love with her and decided to fight for her. She doesn't have any kids with her new husband, but they were happy until the sad thing happened," he said.

He said that the suspect went to his ex-house wife's with his friend and did the crime late on Thursday, October 13, because he was jealous.

"They took a machete and other weapons with them. As soon as they got to the house of his ex-new wife's husband, they attacked him and cut his throat. He died from too much bleeding because no one was there to help. Because our roads are so bad, no one was able to get him to the nearest hospital, no matter how hard they tried," he said.

Since then, Robert Osei's body has been taken to the Jukwa Hospital, and the suspect and his friend have been turned over to the police so they can investigate.

"After committing the crime, they tried to sneak out of the town, but some young people caught them. They tied them up and gave them to the police when they came. "They are being held at the Atobiase Police Station, which is in the same district," the Assembly member said.
