‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’: Burke might Dɪᴇ Before the End of Season 2

Power Book III: Raising Kanan takes place in the 1990s and shows the teen years of Kanan Stark (Mekai Curtis) and his cousin Jukebox (Hailey Kilgore). While Raq (Patina Miller) and Marvin Thomas (London Brown), the brother and sister of their parents, run their business, the teens are mostly on their own.

Shannon Burke, a new detective, has taken notice of their mistakes and slip-ups (Shanley Caswell). Fans think, though, that Burke will die before the end of season 2.

'Power Book III: Raising Kanan' A lot of Detective Burke's personal life has been shown in Season 2.

Burke has been determined to prove herself ever since she was paired with Detective Howard. We know that her father was also a detective and that he raised her after her mother died. She is an only child and calls herself a "s." She also doesn't want to be judged or looked over because she's a woman.

Howard tries to keep her at a distance, and Adina (Tracy Perez), her on-again, off-again girlfriend, wants her to leave work alone. However, she is determined to "do good," and this makes her stand out.

Burke might die before the end of the second season.

Fans of the Power Universe know that every season of Power ends with some big surprises. Burke can't stop thinking about Detective Howard's s and how he is linked to Raq and Kanan. In fact, she seems to have started putting together their whole story, which means she's probably digging her own grave.

Howard, her father, and her boyfriend, Detective Adina Foyle (Tracy Perez), have all told her to leave things alone. But she's determined to keep going. We wouldn't mind if she didn't make it to the third season.

"Here's the thing about the big s at the end of the season: at the beginning of the season, we ask ourselves, 'Who are the innocents?'" During an Instagram Live in February 2022, the person who made Power, Courtney Kemp, said. "I know that sounds crazy, but if you are a true Power fan and think about it, if you look back, we always kill an innocent person. Because, in reality, people get hurt in the game. There is damage to other things. The s don't always just hurt themselves. They always hurt people who aren't in the fight, so that's an important thing to know. In the eighth, ninth, or tenth episode, we will actually "get an innocent."

Jukebox could become a cop because of Detective Burke.

When we met adult Jukebox (Anika Noni Rose) in the movie Power, she was a cop who was ready to hurt and steal from anyone who stood in her way. At the moment, Jukebox would never trust a police officer. But she has a sort of connection with Burke. The detective was kind to Jukebox by telling her about Kenya, who is played by LeToya Luckett.

She also felt bad for Jukebox after Nicole's (Annabelle Zasowski) accident and told her she could always talk to her. We all know that Burke is a good cop. But because of where Jukebox is from, she could learn from Burke how to work within the system and use it to her own advantage.

Just wait and see.
