Yellowstone star's wife want him to quit the show.

Kevin Costner's wife, Christine Baumgartner, is reportedly telling him to quit "Yellowstone."

Sources have told Radar Online that Costner's wife wants him to stop playing the lead role of John Dutton on the famous Taylor Sheridan series. They say that Costner wasn't sure the show would do well when he joined in 2018, but it's now one of the most popular shows of all time and will start its fifth season in November.

Radar said that this means Costner spends most of his time making movies in Montana, leaving his wife and three kids at home in Los Angeles. "It has really hurt their family life," a friend is said to have told Radar.

"The show is so popular that the people who make it want it to go on forever! But Christine wants her husband to take off his cowboy hat, and someone close to her says her patience is wearing thin. She wants him to say for sure that this is his last season, or he may have to hit the road.

Radar's claims aren't completely false, but I can't imagine a wife being so stupid as to demand that her husband quit a huge money-maker that doesn't even have that long of a shooting schedule. This guess is, of course, based on nothing but my gut feeling. More spoilers about Season 5 of "Yellowstone" have been leaked.

CarterMatt says that a 10-episode season usually takes only a month or two to make, but season five has fourteen episodes, which makes the production time longer. Call me old-fashioned, but I can't imagine a good wife ruining her husband's career and one of the best TV shows of all time just to get more attention. I hope Radar was wrong about this one!
