Ghost season 3 premiere date: The big question is answered here

Why won't Starz show the third season of Power Book II: Ghost and the second season of BMF around the same time? We know that a lot of people have thought about this.

First of all, it's important to say that technically, nothing has been confirmed yet. There's a good chance that the network will put them on at the same time, or at least that there will be some overlap.

For this article, though, we're going to go with what some fans think: Michael Rainey Jr. and the rest of the cast might not be back until March, after the other 50 Cent show has ended. Let's go back to the question at the beginning of this article. Starz may want to separate these shows as much as possible for a number of reasons.

1. They want to make as much money as possible. This is a very cynical way to look at the world, but we all know that television is a business. People will be out for themselves, and Starz wants people to sign up for their service. People stay subscribed longer when BMF and Ghost are shown at different times, which brings in more money.

 2. Launch pads for other shows: There's not much reason for the network to show their most popular shows at the same time when they can use each of them to get more people to watch some other shows. That's just a tried-and-true method that many businesses in this field have used for years.

3. Making the Power series run more smoothly: In 2023, Ghost could go right into Power Book IV: Force, which could go right into Power Book III: Raising Kanan. This could happen or it could not, but having Ghost on the shelf gives them more options.

In the end, though, it's hard to wait this long, especially since we already know that the season has been filmed.
