Power Book 3: Raising Kanan: Marvin Might not survive in season 3

Power Book III: Raising Kanan is about Kanan Stark's teenage years (Mekai Curtis). Kanan is raised by his drug lord mother Raquel "Raq" Thomas (Patina Miller), who runs a business with her brothers Marvin (London Brown) and Lou Lou (Malcolm Mays).

Marvin, who is Raq's and Jukebox's (Hailey Kilgore) oldest brother, has a history of messing things up. But he has promised to change and be a better person. Unfortunately, Marvin may not be alive when Season 3 premieres.

In "Power Book III: Raising Kanan," Marvin has changed in a big way.

When Marvin was first introduced in Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 1, he was described as Raq and Lou’s hotheaded older brother. He lost his business because he was hooked on drugs. He also left his daughter Jukebox in the care of Raq often. By the end of the first season, people didn't like Marvin because he made fun of Juke's sexuality.

In Season 2, Marvin went to therapy to work on his anger problems, and he and Juke also started to fix things.

But Marvin's change of heart might not have been enough to save him.

Marvin might not be alive in ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ Season 3

Fans were glad to see that Marvin and his therapist, Renée Timmons, were not hurt when they were attacked by the mob (Krystal Joy Brown). Renée was caught in the crossfire, which was very sad. But Marvin wasn't so lucky at the end of Season 2, when the mob attacked the business run by the Thomas family. He was shot in the stomach and, bleeding and weak, he slipped into an apartment.

Now, Sascha Penn, who runs the show, is talking about what will happen to Marvin in the next season.

He told Hollywood Life, "It's not great." "Look, the last time we saw him, he was alive. So let's hope that this keeps up. Marvin's growth has been one of the most interesting things about this season. I think that he ended season 1 in a very particular way. From what people said on social media, it seems like they didn't like how Marvin ended season 1. His story in season 2 is kind of about how he turns his life around. Again, it really shows how well these actors did their jobs. London [Brown] is amazing, and she has given Marvin a humanity, depth, and complexity that you can only dream of as a writer."

Raq could be the only member of the Thomas family left.

Power fans know what happened to Jukebox (Anika Noni Rose) and Kanan (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson) after they tried to get into Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and Tommy's (Joseph Sikora) business. Now, based on how Raq acts in Raising Kanan, they think she might be the only member of the Thomas family still alive.

Kanan told Tommy, "I just got back from seeing my mother," when they were all in Power. Even though he didn't say if she was dead or alive, Miller thinks she is a good person.

The actor told Express U.K., "Her goal is to leave something, her legacy, for her family, but more than that, if she falls down, she's going to get back up." "And you'll see that grit, that determination, that passion, that, like, ferocity. She fights and makes it through hard times. It's who she is and what she's always done, so don't ever give up on her."

How this all turns out for the queenpin can only be seen in the future.
