Yellowstone: Kevin Costner Asks Fans If They Are Ready for More of John and Rip in Season 5

Yellowstone Season 5 is almost here, and star Kevin Costner (who plays John Dutton) has started building up excitement on social media. The Oscar winner recently posted a scene from Yellowstone in which his character was with Cole Hauser's Rip Wheeler. When Costner asked fans if they were ready for more John and Rip in the fifth season, Hauser answered in the comments.

In the book "Yellowstone," John Dutton and Rip Wheeler have a special bond.

Rip killed his father for killing his mother when he was a young boy. John took him in and gave him a second chance at life. The rancher taught him how to run the Dutton Ranch and became like a father to him.

Since Rip married John's daughter Beth, he is now John's son-in-law and right-hand man (Kelly Reilly). But even before he married into the family, Rip was ready to do whatever it took to help keep the ranch going and protect the Dutton name.

With this special relationship in mind, Costner shared a Yellowstone scene with the two characters on Instagram before the season 5 premiere. And he asked his 899K followers, "Who wants more of this?"

Cole Hauser replies to the post by his "friend" Kevin Costner.

The scene that Costner posted was from an early morning on the Dutton Ranch. John walks up to Rip at the horse corral and says "Good morning," while Rip wonders what the day will bring.

John says, "I can't tell Rip, but I know this is the best it will get."

"Well, I guess it's all going to get worse from here on out," says Rip. John replies, "Let's get to work."

Cole Hauser replied to Costner's post in the comments section by saying, "One of my favorite scenes with you, my friend. A quiet moment."

Many fans also wrote in the comments that they were more than ready for more Yellowstone almost a year after the end of season 4.

"Let's ride!!! ?? Can't wait until the new season comes out!!! ", wrote one fan. Another person said, "These two never need to say much. They have reached an agreement!" "RIP is as loyal as it gets," said a third person.

Fans of "Yellowstone" can't wait for season 5, which will have more of John Dutton and Rip Wheeler.

At the end of season 4, Yellowstone was the most watched drama on TV, with more than 15 million people watching. And it's clear that the start of season 5 is one of the most-anticipated TV shows of the year.

When Paramount released the trailer for Taylor Sheridan's fifth season of his western, they say it broke records by getting 14.4 million views and 1.7 million clicks in the first 24 hours. That's three times as many organic views and six times as many interactions as the Yellowstone Season 4 trailer did when it came out.

Fans have also talked about the Duttons on social media thousands of times more, sharing how excited they are to see what comes next for them.

We're almost done waiting. On Sunday, November 13, Season 5 of Yellowstone will start with a two-hour event on the Paramount Network.
